Unbowed by any cares this lovely song thrush may have, he sat in the top of the cherry tree and sung his heart out in the sunshine, yesterday morning.

    Isn't he wonderful! I can't get over the number of birds we have zooming around the garden at the moment! It's just jumping with birdsong and activity. It gives the place such a positive vibe - lovely! Have a good weekend. A x

(Not) in a vase on Monday!

The challenge this week, set by Cathy at  https://ramblinginthegarden.wordpress.com to celebrate five years of In a Vase on Monday, was to offer (Not) in a vase on Monday!  So here is my interpretation of that idea with one of my Plant Belles, which I tend to use for things I find and enjoy.  I weave bits and pieces through the metal ribs and keep them until they fall apart, or something even better turns up!  Lichen covered twigs, branches of larch with tiny cones, seed heads, twisted heather stems, anything and everything that has form and beauty.
