Wild garlic time again! Hooray! It's fresh, it's greener than green, and because the leaves are so young they are super strong in flavour! The pesto I made nearly knocked my socks off so I went a bit easy when adding it to the tagliatelle. I had no idea what we were going to have for supper tonight, until we went for a walk this afternoon! A bit of divine intervention there I reckon.
There have been some cracking early morning skies this week. The sunrise has generated a strong rose gold light which has been picked up not only in the clouds but also through the silver-white grasses around the edge of the golf course. I always marvel at the clouds. Constantly changing, formations that have never been seen before, never to be seen again.

That looks really yummy...perhaps you should take people on foraging walks?
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh as I got to the first picture and spent a few moments looking for an animal amongst the leaf litter and green stalks....then decided to press READ MORE....wild garlic. Ha Ha directed at me.
Supper looks really good! xx
Well to be fair 'look who's back' does sound like a person or living thing! I did deliberate over that for a while. Maybe I will change the heading! It hasn't sat well with me from the start! xx
DeleteNo! Don't change it...who doesn't love one of those 'find the' in amongst a pile of leaves, a wood pile or a tree. It's quite a cunning way of making the reader, read! Great work xxxx
ReplyDeleteToo late!! xx
