Marigolds and nasturtiums! A feast and intensity of colour, and a spicy kick in a salad. No wonder both these gorgeous flowers are beloved of chefs, artists, gardeners .... and me!
PS : there is absolutely no chance that I will be picking any stems of my Regale lilies, which are spectacular this year, but I have to show them to you! Last year I planted four bulbs and they flowered beautifully. This year they have multiplied! I have eight fabulous stems of lilies, about four feet high! And their scent is on another level!

I don't blame you for not cutting your lilies - they're glorious! Nasturtiums are among the cheeriest of flowers in my book and always welcoming in a vase.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Kris! I forgot to say that I loved the dahlias in your second arrangement this week! Such a pretty colour. Mine are slowly moving towards budding! We certainly garden in very different season zones! A
