Nosey parkers

Not too far from here there are some rather engaging little Thelwell ponies.  They love a visit, jostling for a handful of grass from passers by!
And I can't resist leaving you with the Arabian proverb "The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears".  Just to set you up for a new week.

    Oh I need to get-attem with a pair of grooming brushes. Lovely that they have each other's company, I hate to see horses on their own.

    The look so warm and cuddly...such a lovely photo of M too.
    Thelwell exhibition is on at Mottisfont Abbey in Hampshire soon..Im planning a trip with mum and F...love Thelwell.

There have been some cracking early morning skies this week.  The sunrise has generated a strong rose gold light which has been picked up not only in the clouds but also through the silver-white grasses around the edge of the golf course. I always marvel at the clouds.  Constantly changing, formations that have never been seen before, never to be seen again.

(Not) in a vase on Monday!

The challenge this week, set by Cathy at  https://ramblinginthegarden.wordpress.com to celebrate five years of In a Vase on Monday, was to offer (Not) in a vase on Monday!  So here is my interpretation of that idea with one of my Plant Belles, which I tend to use for things I find and enjoy.  I weave bits and pieces through the metal ribs and keep them until they fall apart, or something even better turns up!  Lichen covered twigs, branches of larch with tiny cones, seed heads, twisted heather stems, anything and everything that has form and beauty.
