I have been listening to this week's edition of BBC Radio 3's sublime programme 'Words and Music', while making the supper (Parsnip and Sausage Gratin - Jane Grigson's Vegetable Book, page 364).
When I was a little girl I had a framed copy of this illustration of Peter Pan's statue in Kensington Gardens. How appropriate that today's edition of 'Words and Music' is The Great God Pan http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05sxz6j; dreamy beautiful music, interspersed with poetic words depicting Pan and Peter Pan, as the new baby princess sleeps not far away in Kensington Palace!
